Purpose
Square one in pool design is determining who will be using your pool and what activities will take place. A pool for laps or fitness is far different than a pool for entertaining. Have toddlers? We can create a shallow splash area. Want to lay out in the sun during the summer? We can add a built-in tanning ledge.
Location
Our J&S Landscape designer will advise you on zoning and building laws, then look at options to work around or relocate utility lines and irrigation. We’ll also consider how the pool fits within the overall landscape design, your home’s architecture, and even the view of the pool from inside your home.
Style
You’ve got your classic oval, kidney and rectangle shape to choose from when designing a pool. Then there’s free form for the flexibility to fit the shape of your property and landscape. Your pool can be ideal for swimming laps or rival local waterparks with waterfalls, slides, a beach entry and lazy river.
When building pools and spas in Boulder, J&S Landscape can also accommodate nearly any request, including underwater lighting and speakers, waterfalls and fountains, even a swim-up bar or grotto.
Maintenance
No pool is maintenance-free, but we can reduce the need for extensive maintenance by installing a state-of-the-art, energy efficient system. From larger pipe sizing to quiet variable-speed pool pumps, automatic sanitizers and powerful heaters, we’ll make sure your pool is party ready year-round.
Spa
If you think your spa has to be attached to one end of your pool or another, think again. While this is certainly a popular option, we can also play with elevations or create a more secluded spa retreat in another area of your yard. Want full privacy? We can build a step-down or enclose it in a gazebo.
