Brownstone Overlook Project

Brownstone overlook project

The front entry of the home. Karley Rose fountain grass grows in masses with groundcovers beginning to fill in. The home previously had a massive, difficult to maintain pond that was 4-6′ deep and a danger to the owners young grandkids. We removed that and added water but in a different configuration. A unique fish totem pole. The yard is seen from all the windows on the west side of the house. The owner loves buffalograss so we sodded it with the same.

The key feature was the creation of the waterfall feature where we made our stones and assembled them in place to create a multi tiered water feature that emptied into a hidden reservoir at the base. The dry streambed carried the illusion of water across the west side of the house. It also acts as a route for runoff in heavy rain events.
