Scott would never write this about himself (being the modest man he is) - so we will. Scott is the president and owner of J&S Landscape, the energy behind the company, our "go to" guy and the leader of our parade. He believes in the best, he hires the best, plants the best and demands the best. That is the reason he has been in business for over 30 years. He has worked with most of the premier builders in Boulder County on their spec homes as well as customers who come back to him again and again. Some of our clients have had Scott design and landscape 2, 3, or 4 of their homes over the years. If we could come up with 3 words to describe Scott they would be "foresight," "fairness" and "integrity." Perhaps one more word would be "friend" - a wonderful humanitarian. Coming from a small Iowa town Mike had many opportunities to grow up around gardens and farms. Since he finished his horticulture degree he has continued to work and study gardens and how to skillfully create them for his many landscape projects. He has made Colorado his home since 1985 and incorporated the best gardening ideas coming from our regions skilled garden experts. He takes pride in developing useful and interactive gardens that burst with color and have that special Colorado feeling. His passion is gardening at his home with his wife, chasing his dogs down a trail, and learning more that he can use at your homes landscape. He looks forward to helping you explain and discover all that your home can become. Rob Kinion Rob has been an employee of J&S Landscaping for ten years. His primary duties include commercial bidding and project manager. He reviews on site needs and crew co-ordination and provides customers with bids and estimates, as well as coordinating activities and flowing information from our customers to our designers...and ultimately to our installers. Rob has 28 years of experience in landscape construction and management, including small to large residential and commercial sites, parks, ball fields, and golf courses as well as major highway and wetlands reclamation projects. Rob is an important member of our team and ensures customer satisfaction from start to conclusion of our projects. Rob is also a water feature "go to" guy. Scott Haugland
Tanya has been designing for J & S Landscape for almost ten years. She creates designs for small intimate gardens as well as multi-acre estates and horse properties. She adores renovations (working with the old genius of the space) along with new construction - both residential and commercial. Creating outdoor "rooms" in the landscape, designing with simple elegance, and creating habitats for the birds and wildlife is what she really enjoys. She is a Colorado Certified Nursery Professional as designated by the Colorado Nursery Association.
